Scottsdale Luxury Homes sees short sales dominate the market

Total closed for November 2011 is 7,803. That was made up of 2,339 REO properties (30%)and 2269 Short sales (29%) and 3,195 normal closings (41%)

Pending is at 17,592. That is made up of 2859 REO properties (16%) and 11,155 Shortsales(63%) and 3,582 normal (21%)

Activeis 19,388. That is made up of 2,256 REO properties (12%) and 3,031 Short sales(16%) and 14,103 normal (73%)

We are closing more and more short sales every month and with the huge amount of Pending short sales that should be no surprise but we still have some work todo so get those short sales closed!

Fourth Best City in The United States? Got Scottsdale, AZ!

Scottsdale Arizona was just recently named the fourth best city
nationwide to live in according to BusinessWeek.com

Businessweek.com analyzed 100 of the nations largest
cities and towns looking at qualities such as school scores, number of
restaurants, entertainment, and educational levels of the residents.

Raleigh, N.C. took the top spot which was noted for its
cultural graces, good schools, and many parks.

Scottsdale, AZ ranked #2 on their school related index,
second only to Irvine California.

The top 5 cities are:

1. Raleigh, N.C.

2. Arlington, VA

3. Honolulu, HI

4. Scottsdale, AZ

5. Irvine, CA

P.S. Growing up in Scottsdale, I have known for years this
one of the best cities in the United States. Scottsdale Arizona is now starting
to show up on the national radar. Many of my friend's families still live in
the same house I visited 40 years ago, those neighborhoods have not changed!
